Seasonal Colour
Once the risk of frost has passed – it’s time to plant snapdragons, marigolds, petunias and geraniums.
Zinnias, dahlias and sunflowers are best planted in mid spring for lots of summer colour.
For cascades of colour in hanging baskets – that bees adore, try portulacas, spreading petunias and alyssum.
Lawns come alive in spring after being dormant over the cooler months. Topdress and fertilise your lawn in spring with Scotts Lawn Builder All Purpose Lawn Fertiliser and a Scotts spreader to easily and quickly apply fertiliser to your whole lawn.
Aerate and de-thatch your lawn now. Aerate with a garden fork and de-thatch with a garden rake.
