25th March - 29th March 2026 Royal Exhibition Building & Carlton Gardens

Experience a kaleidoscope of colour at the historic Royal Exhibition Building, which transforms into the Great Hall of Flowers. Showcasing glorious and vibrant displays from leading florists and floral designers, the Great Hall of Flowers will once again be filled with stunning sights and enchanting scents.

Each year, the Show’s floral competitions celebrate the creativity and innovation of Australia’s (and the world’s) best designers. From large-scale installations to intimate design moments, these competitions challenge florists, artists, and students to push boundaries, experiment with technique, and captivate audiences. Leading Australian and international florists will compete for the prestigious Gold Medal in the floral design competition, creating interactive and memorable displays that turn the hall into a floral wonderland in full bloom.

The public will also be surrounded by the colour and fragrance of the gorgeous Retail Flower Market where people can buy blooms to take home as a significant memento of their day at the Show. In addition there will be the wondrous displays from the talented students of Registered Training Organisations. This year will also showcase the return of the Hanging Installations exhibit with award-winning aerial floral displays, and the Botanical Moments competition. This year also introduces the Petal Project, celebrating collaboration between growers and florists to showcase flowers at their very best.

The Great Hall of Flowers will be a truly unique experience for floral enthusiasts  housed in one of Australia’s most significant heritage buildings
