The historic Royal Exhibition Building turns into the Great Hall of Flowers for the 5 days of the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. Showcasing glorious and vibrant displays from leading florists and floral designers, the Great Hall of Flowers will once again be filled with glorious sights and scents. Leading Australian and international florists will create a range of interactive and memorable floral displays as they compete to take home the prestigious Gold Medal in the floral design competition, transforming the hall in to a floral wonderland in full bloom.
The public will also be surrounded by the colour and fragrance of the gorgeous Retail Flower Market where people can buy blooms to take home as a significant memento of their day at the Show. In addition there will be the stunning RMIT Floral Fashion exhibit, and the wondrous displays from the talented students of Registered Training Organisations. This year will also showcase the return of the Hanging Installations exhibit with award-winning aerial floral displays, and the Natio Botanical Moments competition.
