Teaming up with Beyond Blue
Beyond Blue is proud to be the official charity partner of the 2019 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Beyond Blue wants to encourage all children and their families to be not only physically healthy, but mentally healthy. Getting outside into nature is a great way to start planting the seed of positive mental health in your life.
Watch out for the Beyond Blue Charity Garden space, which will have fun, interactive activities for children of all ages throughout the five days of the show.
There will be a trampoline and monkey bar set to play on, a flower crown / tiara making area, painting, drawing and writing stations, giant Snakes and Ladders and Jenga games and face painting. Don’t miss the special outdoor presentation for kids from the Beyond Blue stage area and the opportunity to win an amazing prize for your school just by taking a photo in the Beyond Blue photo booth! Every child that visits the Beyond Blue garden will be given a show bag to take home with them.
Beyond Blue will also be holding a fundraising raffle throughout the show, with the top prize being a home garden designed by a professional landscape architect, as well as plenty of other great prizes.
“We’re so excited to be partnering with the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Getting out into nature and taking part in a physical activity like gardening is a fantastic way to help look after your mental health. Together we hope to encourage more people to be active and take care of their mental health, as they would their physical health. Come and check out the Beyond Blue Charity Garden at this year’s show.” Georgie Harman, Beyond Blue Chief Executive Officer
