Volunteer Opportunity for Aspiring Florists
Are you passionate about flowers and eager to gain hands-on experience in floristry? The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is offering a unique opportunity for aspiring florists and florists in training to volunteer at the Flower Market.
Training Session
Before the event, all volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory training session with renowned florist Elizabeth Ricci at Melbourne Flower Merchant:
When: Saturday, 22nd March
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: Melbourne Flower Merchant 555 Bourke Street Melbourne
What you will learn at this training session:
• How to process flowers ready for sale
• Merchandising techniques to create eye-catching displays
• Flower names and care essentials
• Customer service skills
• How to mix, combine and wrap flowers
• OHS

Volunteers will assist with the Flower Market during the show from March 26 – March 30. Multiple shifts are available:

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Friday 28th March
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
