The Central Floral Design Sites are located on the ground floor of the Royal Exhibition Building and are marked in pink on the Show Map. These sites are complimentary based on the approval by the Show Organisers of a submitted Floral Design Plan and are for display purposes only, no retail is permitted.

These sites are approximately 6m wide x 3.19m deep. You have the choice of a 2.4m high or 3m high rear wall (limited availability of both). The rear wall banner can be printed with a graphic or colour of your choice (file must be supplied to spec). Designs must not exceed the height of the wall. If you wish to create a taller display please apply for a double site with no wall (see below for details). All sites have a surrounding 30cm high kickboard to exclude public from the display.

Double sites are available upon application and the submission of a Floral Design Plan. Double sites are open sites measuring 7m x 6m and have no dividing wall. Please contact the Show Organisers for a full explanation of the site sizes and layout prior to lodging your application.

Please refer to the Show Map for site locations. Displays will be created on the venue floor within the kickboard and there are a number of floor protection measures that must be adhered to by exhibitors during set up, display and pack up to ensure no damage to the venue is incurred.

The Design Plan must accompany your online Application and must be no smaller than A4 size, in full colour and images must be able to be easily identified by the Approval Board. It can be neatly hand drawn or a digital render with notes to describe the concept, a sample list of the fresh floral content and colours you intend to use as well as the description of props.

There are two competition categories at the Show, you may elect to be judged in the following:
Floral Design Competition: Formal judging criteria that aligns with the National Floristry training package (up to Diploma of Floral Design). Floral designers, flower growers and florists qualify to compete in the Floral Design Category. Originality in design is always encouraged.
Visual Display Competition: Freestyle floral installations, critiqued on impact and originality. Exhibitors are encouraged to be extravagant with their displays. Floral designers, flower growers and florists qualify to compete in the Visual Display Competition.

- I understand that I am required to submit my Floral Design Plan and Concept information to the Show Organisers, to accompany this online Application, before my Application can be reviewed.

- I understand that I am required to submit my final Floral Design Plan and Floral supply list to the Show Organisers no later than January 21st 2022. Thereafter, small changes will be accepted but must be sent to the Show Organisers for approval.
