The Diggers Club’s exhibit returns to inspire garden visitors through a must-see garden display and the beauty of heirloom seeds through a curated museum display.
Visitors will walk through the museum and see a curated display of several heirloom fruit and vegetables such as pumpkins, watermelons, zucchinis, tromboncino, eggplants, tomatoes, squash, chillies, corn, carrots, beetroot and beans.
Flowers will also be featured in individual vases in the museum and refreshed daily to create a curated floral display of old-world heirloom favourites such as sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, delphiniums, agastaches, sea-holly and salvias.
The garden bed displays will feature for the first time; the Heronswood cut-turf parterre and mini plot along with beautiful flower beds overflowing with our favourite summer-flowering perennials that are strong enough to stand up to heat.
As visitors move through the museum, they will enter the education hub with lots to do, see and learn at daily changing programs.
