We’ve discovered a new way of buying flowers, either for yourself or as a gift, and we think it will be of interest to astrological aficionados. Every Zodiac Sign rules its own set of characteristics, whether it be stones, crystals or even the delicate flower. Everyone can appreciate the beauty of nature, and each astrological sign is drawn to various flora which compliments everyone’s individual characteristics.

ARIES: March 21 – April 20

Arians are strong and sturdy by character. Born leaders, their ambitious qualities makes them protrude energy and power. They have an optimistic look on life, which is why it comes to no surprise that their flowers are the honeysuckle and thistle.

The honeysuckle originates from Japan, its sweet nectar attracts humming birds among other pollinators, resembling the attractive quality of this flower and star sign.

The thistle is often characterized by its sharp prickles, resembling the Aries wild temper and headstrong personality.

TAURUS: April 21 – May 21

Hard-headed at times, the sign of the Taurus is often misunderstood. Much like the poppy, people born under this sign have a vibrant and positive outlook on life. Exuding confidence, the sign of the bull is often resilient at times, and are willing to tackle any obstacle in their way.

Gemini have a nature that often resemble a double-sided personality. They are highly social and energetic by nature, bringing colour into any room they enter. Their vibrant personality go hand-in-hand with the characteristics of the lavender.

The lavender uses its unique aroma and delicate form appeals to the senses, drawing in a crowd, representing grace and elegance.

  

 CANCER: June 22 – July 22

Those born under the sign of Cancer are known to be overly generous, sweet and good-natured. Motivated by family, their personal life is a serene and harmonious environment. Their nurturing personality best suits the characteristics of the white rose.

The colourful characteristics of the buttercup and chrysanthemum is a positive reflection of the sunny and cheerful outlook on life that Virgos possess.

 

LIBRA: September 24 – October 23

Libras are known to be fond of all things beautiful and tend to be more in-tune with their romantic side. They mirror the true justice of liberty, and cannot tolerate upheaval or injustice. The balanced beauty of the rose, hydrangea and daisy are a true representation of a Libran.

The rose is distinct in color and distinct in style, each petal symbolizing a layer of enchantment and love. You can’t go past gifting a Libran a bunch of roses, striking a chord with their romantic side.

 

SCORPIO: October 24 – November 22

Mysterious and intelligent, you never know what a Scorpio has in store for you. Sometimes bitter by personality, a Scorpion is strong-willed, which often possess traits that make them equally strong friends. Legendary for aging gracefully, Capricorns are armed to be stubborn but tenacious and hardworking. Whether they are growing wiser or more mischievous, the Capricorn favours material gain, long life and structure. Capricorns much like pansies represent notions of true friendship, companionship and spirituality.

Pansies are a part of the violet family, recognizing the sign of spring, and the ability to withstand extreme temperatures. Pansies possess various meanings and hold high resemblance to showcasing love, adoration and remembrance.

 

AQUARIUS: January 21 – February 19

Forward-thinking and expressive, Aquarians are anything but conventional. They are best known to be an open book, both in an emotional and positive way.
