Landscape Show Garden sites come in various sizes located throughout the Carlton Gardens and in most cases can be tailored to suit the size of the design. These sites are marked as purple on the show map.
The sites are complimentary based on the submission and approval by the Show Organisers of a Landscape Design Plan. If an application for a site is approved by the Show Organisers a site visit is required to select a suitable site before confirmation of the booking can be made.
The costs involved with the design and construction of the Landscape Show Garden are borne by the exhibitor.
There are a number of protection measures that must be adhered to by exhibitors to ensure no damage to the venue is incurred.
The major areas of focus include no penetration of the ground with the Tree Protection Zone (TPZ) of any existing tree, requests to penetrate the ground outside the TPZ submitted in writing for approval, the requirement to lay an approved layer of ground protection such as Geo Textile, underneath each Show Garden installation.
These plus other areas requiring Exhibitors attention will be given in more detail within the Exhibitor Manual distributed to approved applicants.
Access onto the Show Garden sites for visiting public is discouraged as building permits and engineer certificates are required to allow this. If you wish to discuss the option for public to have access to your site please contact Show Management.
For more detail on the above requirements please contact the Show Organisers prior to lodging your application.
The Show Garden Design Plan must accompany your online Application and must be no smaller than A4 size, in full colour and images must be able to be easily identified by the Approval Board.
