What to expect at the world famous show
The finishing touches are being made to this years show stopping Floral Installations & outstanding Landscape Gardens. Get ready to be transported to a Floral Wonderland when our doors open tomorrow at 9am.
Thousands will descend on the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show to immerse their senses over five glorious Autumn days.

BEAUTIFUL FLORAL DISPLAYS
Bold floral installations will fill the Royal Exhibition Building once again this year, as the best local & international floral designers showcase their artistry and compete to take home the prestigious Gold Floral Design Award.
STUNNING LANDSCAPE SHOW GARDENS
The show will feature stunning Landscape Gardens from leading Australian & international designers. This year’s features include beautiful cascading waterfalls, meandering streams, warming fire pits & illuminating backdrops. Discover this years designers & garden names here.
NEW FEATURE: THE WELCOME GARDEN
We are ecstatic to present the first ever ‘Welcome Garden’, designed by 2017 Best in Show award winner Philip Withers.
Throughout the show, Philip will be hosting a series of talks with award winning designers and some of the top names in the industry.

THE FLOWER MARKET
The Great Hall of Flowers features a glorious and vibrant exhibition from Victoria’s leading florists and floral designers, and also for the public a gorgeous Retail Flower Market by Flowers Victoria where people can buy blooms direct from our Growers.
RETAIL EXHIBITORS
Over 200 retail exhibitors are coming together at this years show to form an innovative retail product showcase, covering an extensive range of categories from Garden Tools to Exotic Plants.
MAIN STAGE LINEUP
Nestled within the Great Hall of Flowers, the Main Stage is programmed with free seminars from an extensive line-up of floral artists, gardening experts and TV personalities.
GARDENS BY TWILIGHT
For one night only, the show will immerse visitors in a floral wonderland of scented delights and illuminated designer gardens when we keeps our doors open until 9pm on Friday 23 March for ‘Gardens by Twilight’. Expect live music, amazing food trucks & a pop-up bar serving craft beer, champagne & wine.
NEW FEATURE: WEDDING EXHIBIT
The Wedding Exhibit presented by Flowers Victoria will see twenty boutique Melbourne florists and wedding stylists showcasing their exquisite designs on an 18-metre long table inside The Royal Exhibition Building.
RMIT FLORAL FASHION
RMIT fashion design students will showcase high-end fashion pieces made completely of greenery and flowers. See the bold ingenuity of Melbourne’s emerging fashion designers up close with their take on surprising floral couture.
